Lawrence E. Crowe

Sometimes the most difficult part of securing and protecting a patent is getting everyone – engineers, managers and counsel – speaking the same language. In these instances, it helps to have someone with the knowledge, experience and empathy to translate. That’s where Larry Crowe excels.
Larry began his career as an aerospace engineer, where he worked on a wide range of products and technologies operating in the air, on the ground, under the sea, and in outer space. He received numerous patents during this process. Eventually, he would move from engineering into patent law first as in-house counsel for intellectual property, and then at several law firms. This experience on both sides of the proverbial fence is what makes him such an efficient communicator. As an intellectual property attorney and patent prosecutor specializing in mechanical and electromechanical technologies, Larry’s experience with clients allows him to effectively navigate the business, legal and technical aspects of innovation. In his role at Boyle Fredrickson, he prepares and prosecutes patent applications and related matters, develops patent portfolio strategies, and conducts intellectual property evaluations.
