Baxter, Boyle, and McConnell Named to 2010 “Best Lawyers” Listing
Prestigious, Peer-Reviewed Listing Recognizes Baxter, Boyle, and McConnell
Three Boyle Fredrickson attorneys-shareholders Keith Baxter, Jim Boyle and Andy McConnell-have been included in the 2010 edition of “The Best Lawyers in America” in the specialty of Intellectual Property Law. Selection to “Best Lawyers,” one of the leading guides to legal excellence in the United States, is based upon a peer-reviewed survey comprised of 2.8 million confidential evaluations by attorneys.
“We congratulate Keith, Jim and Andy on this honor, which not only reflects their experience, but their commitment to client service as well,” said Boyle Fredrickson President Peter Stomma. “They have helped build our firm over the past decade and are a big reason why we are the leading intellectual property law firm in the state of Wisconsin.”
Baxter, who specializes in patent protection and counsel, the strategic use of patents and prelitigation management of patent disputes, graduated with honors from Georgetown Law and earned his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from Yale University. He is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors.
Boyle earned both his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and his law degree from Marquette University. He has been an active leader in several professional and community service organizations. He sits on the National Advisory Council of the Marquette University College of Engineering and is also a frequent lecturer on topics such as patent protection.
McConnell, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Law, is a past president of the Wisconsin Intellectual Property Law Association. His practice emphasizes prosecution, counseling, licensing and dispute resolution in patent and trademark matters. He is also a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
