Griggs Named Voting Shareholder
Boyle Fredrickson, Wisconsin’s largest, full service intellectual property law firm, has added Michael T. Griggs as a voting shareholder.
A registered patent attorney, Griggs, 35, is an experienced litigator who handles all phases of litigation from the initial pleadings stage through trial. He also focuses his practice on preparing patent and trademark applications, researching patentability and infringement issues, and providing clients with counseling and written opinions.
“Michael’s analysis and advice to his clients to devise practical strategies for intellectual property acquisition, protection and enforcement is highly valued by the firm,” says Jim Boyle, firm shareholder and one of its founders. “We happily welcome him as a partner and equity shareholder.”
Griggs worked at an IP firm in Chicago before joining Boyle Fredrickson in 2007. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2003. Prior to attending that, he earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
Griggs is admitted to practice law in Wisconsin and Illinois and is a member of both state bar associations.
