Boyle Fredrickson Attorneys to Lead IP Section for Milwaukee Bar Association

Two attorneys from Boyle Fredrickson, Wisconsin’s largest intellectual property law firm, have been appointed as the 2013-14 co-chairs of the Milwaukee Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Section.

As co-chairs, Michael J. Gratz and Michael Carton, will be responsible for coordinating educational programs for other attorneys. Those who attend the programs, which cover trending topics, receive continuing legal education credits.

Gratz graduated from UW-Madison Law School in 1994. He is a founding shareholder of Boyle Fredrickson and practices patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret law. He is also involved in licensing intellectual property and related litigation matters.

Carton, who earned his law degree in 2008 from the Ava Maria School of Law in Naples, Fla., is an associate attorney at the firm assisting clients in patent prosecution. He previously worked as an examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
