Boyle Fredrickson Discusses Women in Engineering

MILWAUKEE – Boyle Fredrickson intellectual property attorney Billie Jean Smith spoke as a panelist about women in engineering, with a focus on gender diversity, to attendees of COMPSAC 2019 on Wednesday, July 17th at Marquette University. Billie was joined on this panel by other leading women with engineering backgrounds in their respective industries including, academia, manufacturing, health care research, and information technology.

COMPSAC is the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Computer Society Signature Conference on Computers, Software and Applications. Founded in 1977, it is a major international forum for academia, industry, and government where attendees discuss research results and advancements, emerging problems, and future trends in computer and software technologies and applications.
