Boyle Fredrickson Collects Books for Kids

Boyle Fredrickson Cares, a program that supports local organizations and causes, and encourages employees to give back to their communities in meaningful ways, has teamed up with the Next Door Foundation of Milwaukee as part of its Books for Kids program.

Through the month of March, attorneys and staff collected 311 new and gently used books to support award-winning early education provider’s literacy and school readiness initiative.

Research shows that the number of books available to a child may surpass all other variables in predicting their first-grade reading achievement and long-term success in school. As part of its Books for Kids program, Next Door distributes thousands of new or gently-used books to children to promote reading at home and helps these children close the achievement gap – building a brighter future for them and the community.
