Eric's practice focuses primarily on patent and trademark prosecution. Prior to pursuing a law degree, Eric spent eleven years as a practicing engineer, primarily in product development. His engineering experience includes writing software for custom machine tools and for motor drives. Eric is the named inventor on two patents and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Wisconsin. His experience as an engineer and inventor provides a unique perspective to his clients' intellectual property concerns.
Eric graduated from the Marquette University Law School where he served as a member of the Marquette Intellectual Property Law Review and as a student liaison to the Young Lawyers Division of the Wisconsin State Bar. He earned a B.S. in electrical engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and a M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison..
Eric is licensed by the State Bar of Wisconsin and by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, and he is a member of the Wisconsin Intellectual Property Law Association.
