An aggressive client advocate, Kirk focuses primarily on patent and trademark acquisition, opinions and enforcement. Kirk assists clients from a variety of industries in meeting not only their intellectual property objectives, but their business objectives as well. A craftsman in various physical media, Kirk also prides himself on troubleshooting client issues. He provides a savvy approach to harvesting, maintaining and protecting their intellectual property.

Active in the legal community, Kirk is a Board Member of the Wisconsin Bar Intellectual Property Section. He is also a member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers, American Bar Association, Wisconsin Bar Association, Wisconsin Intellectual Property Law Association and American Intellectual Property Law Association. Kirk is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the U. S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Kirk holds a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with an emphasis in mechanical design and power systems, and he earned his law degree from Marquette University Law School. Kirk lives with his family in Port Washington where he also assists the Port Washington Junior Wrestling program.
