Boyle Fredrickson Offers PDH Opportunity to Professional Engineers

MILWAUKEE – Eric Schlevensky, an attorney at Boyle Fredrickson Intellectual Property Law, will present Patent Fundamentals for Engineers from 6 to 8 p.m. June 19 at the firm’s office,  840 N. Plankinton Ave. An hour-long networking reception will follow the presentation.

Event check-in begins at 5:30 p.m.

Schlevensky, who joined the firm in 2008, is an electrical engineer and inventor whose law practice focuses on patent and trademark prosecution.

Engineers who attend the presentation will earn two professional development hours  (PDHs) toward the state’s continuing professional competency requirement for professional engineers. Attendees will also:

  • Receive an overview of the different types of patent protection available and the process for obtaining patent protection.
  • Discuss best practices and procedures for engineers to protect their company’s ability to seek patent protection.
  • Learn about recent changes to patent law and how these changes impact an organization’s decisions to seek patent protection.
